Feast of Love Ministries is an *ecumenical ministry helping people help other people.

The Feast of Love began in 1986. The initial purpose was to provide holiday meals for those who are lonely. These dinners inspired the community, and the ministry began to broaden to fill other needs. Today the supporting churches include College Hill Presbyterian Church, St. Clare Roman Catholic Church, and Evangelical Community Church. Since the Feast of Love began, it has followed God’s call and grown significantly. This ministry meets needs that are unaddressed by other organizations.

Today the Feast of Love Ministries operate entirely through its 120 regular volunteers plus additional volunteers for special events. College Hill Presbyterian Church provides space for Feast of Love and allows the ministry to use its tax identification number. Other than that, donations designated for this ministry are the sole source of funding.


Feast of Love Ministries consists of the following ministries:

Feast of Love Dinners—Held on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter at College Hill Prebyterian Church

Find a Need and Fill It—gives people a way to gift beds, tableware, and other items to needy people

Operation Baby Formula—Collects and distributes Baby formula, diapers, and child care items throughout the area

Tools for Schools—collects and sends supplies to 22 Cincinnati grade schools where family incomes are below the poverty level

Operation Heat Up/Cool Down—collects new and used blankets, warm clothing (coats, mittens, hats, boots), and heaters, air conditioners and fans for people in need.

Camp S’Mores—overnight camp experiences with fun activities and loving people for urban children

Operation Petticoat—collects items for women in the military. These items may include: Lotions (scented bath and body), soft socks or slippers, nail polish, razors designed for women, lip gloss or lip balm, perfume or body spray, cosmetics, donations for shipping costs. Items may be dropped off at church.
