ECC - Junior High Ministry

The Junior High Ministry at ECC exists to glorify God in ministering to youth and their families in all our activities, and is based on the authority of God’s Word. We believe 2 Timothy 3:16-17, that Scripture is breathed out by God and useful in all areas of the lives of youth and their families. We believe that parents are ordained by God as the primary disciplers of their children, and we desire to come alongside them in that task. We want to see Deuteronomy 6:4-9 become as much of a reality in the homes of junior high students as possible.

Higher Ground - Junior High Sunday School (Grades 7-8)
Meets Sunday Mornings, 9:15 - 10:15 am, in Room 106

C.R.E.W. (Youth Group)
Meets Sunday Evenings, 5:30 - 7:00 pm (September-April) and
5:00 - 7:30 pm (June-August)

Junior High Boys Bible Study
Not meeting currently.

Junior High Girls Bible Study
Meets every other Wednesday 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Bi-monthly Events

Progressive dinners

Video Scavenger Hunts
Canoeing
Movie Nights

Service Days
Typically once a month we serve at a local ministry or at the home
of someone in our congregation

A week of local service to the Cincinnati area (June 2008)

Winter/Spring Retreats
King’s Domain, Morrow, Ohio

VBS Service Opportunity
Junior High students can serve in ECC’s Vacation Bible School each year
(3rd week in June)
