Silver Heirs is a Christian social ministry for folks who are old enough to get Senior discounts and looking for good fellowship with people of their age group. Meetings are held on the second Friday of each month, except during the summer months.

During the winter months, our meetings are held at 10am at the church office. We typically begin with a short time of singing, follow with a guest speaker, and conclude with a nice lunch. In the interest of building community and fellowship, our gatherings always include a meal. Since Christmas is a great time to do something special, it is our tradition to enjoy a wonderful meal at the historic Golden Lamb in Lebanon, Ohio.

During the spring and fall months, we take short trips to places of interest, such as a cruise up the Ohio River and lunch aboard the riverboat, the Belle of Cincinnati.

In observance of Lent, we attended a passion play. Summer is the time for concerts in the park, theater, and for members to take turns hosting wonderful barbeques at their homes.

An important part of the Silver Heirs ministry takes place outside of our regular gatherings. At least once a month, personal calls are made from the church office to say hello and see how folks are doing, or to extend an invitation to an event. Everyone in the group also receives a monthly newsletter called the Silver Heirs Gazette.

Silver Heirs is a growing group and always looks forward to welcoming new members!
