Scripture: Mark 6:1–6:6

With the Measure You Use
Mark 6:1-6
March 30, 2014

Introduction

I. Astonished at His teaching. Mark 6:1-2

II. Rejected by His hometown. Mark 6:3-4

III. Penalized because of unbelief. Mark 6:5-6, 4:24-25

Questions for Reflection:
• How are the teachings of Jesus and the Bible astonishing?
• What held the people of Nazareth back from accepting the truth of Christ?
• Why didn’t Jesus simply offer proof of His true identity in the form of mighty miracles
to overcome the unbelief of people?
• What does this teach us about God?
• What lessons might we take away from this Passage?
