Gracious Father, I pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior

and in the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

 Introduction

 

I.     The promise of greater works through prayer. John 14:12-13

 

 

II.   More benefits of Prayer:

       A.     It glorifies and pleases God.   Psalm 50:23, 141:2

 

       B.    Prayer refreshes and provides strength.  Isaiah 40:31

 

      C.    Prayer is the means God uses to satisfy our desires  Psalm 50:15; Matythew 7:7-8

 

III.  Faith is required.  John 14:12; Matthew 21:22; Hebrews 12:6; Corinthians 1:20

 

IV.  Prayer and the Triune God  John 14:13-14; Romans 8:26
