Introduction:

I.   The law is connected to freedom and blessing. James 1:22-25, Psalm 19:7-11.

II.  The New Covenant expects us to obey Christ's commands. John 14:21,
      Matthew 28:19-20.

III.  How do these commands operate in thelife of the believer?  

       A.  Not be securing our salmation. Esphesians 2:8-9.

       B.  By showing us our need for the gospel. Romans 7:7-12, 21-25.

       C.  By providing us with clear directions for life. Psalm 119:105, 129-136.
